Banbury Physio and Pilates provides private physiotherapy for children in Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and South Warwickshire who have neurological, orthopaedic and other congenital impairments which may affect their development.

About your Physiotherapist:

I have worked as a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist for over ten years and have worked in both public and private sectors, specialising in Paediatrics and adult Musculoskeletal / orthopaedic rehab.

I currently work as a Private Children’s Physiotherapist, and within the NHS. I am qualified to use specialised techniques (such as the Bobath Concept) for treating specific physiological conditions in clients aged mainly between 0 and 19 years of age.

I provide home physiotherapy for babies, children and teenagers with neurological and orthopaedic/musculoskeletal conditions around Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and South Warwickshire (within an hour’s travel of Banbury). I can also treat adults following orthopaedic surgery who require physiotherapy within their home.

I build excellent working relationships with my patients and carers and always involve them, where appropriate, in understanding their treatment and in joint goal setting.

I am also a Pilates instructor, qualified to advanced level. Where appropriate, I use adapted Pilates concepts as a clinical tool to help the physiological development of children and young people, and in strengthening the core to reduce back pain in adults. I am one of few physiotherapists to be able to offer Pilates to children.
